PROFILE

Duane's work features the environmental landscape, rural new england, shoreline, gardening, antiques and architectural details of structures. His photographs reflect his passion for preserving landscape views, and historical places for future generations to enjoy. He uses his camera personify everyday things and events that others never bother to notice.

He uses film and digital media to capture his visual concepts. His science and engineering background has allowed him in the past, to analyze complex situations and reduce them to their basic facts. His ability to be patient and work through complex situations while waiting for the decisive moment to trip the camera shutter in the field, has been compared to Ansel Adams by one of his past photographic mentors. He travels to locations throughout New England and along the East Coast to make photographs for his clients and photographic library. The photographs on file are made available to: Commercial clients, Book Publishers, Greeting Cards Co.,Travel Magazines and his stock agencies. He also self-publishes a selection of his New England Travel photographs under the name of Creative Photo Products. Tourism Gifts: Cards, Signed Fine Art prints, and Photo Specialty Products.
Duane is a member of The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), International Association of Panoramic Photographers (IAPP) and an Elected Artist Member of the Mystic Arts Center, Windham Area Arts Collaborative, Inc. of Willimantic, CT.
